Never Say Die: Managing Stress

Being a senior student in college is the time a person becomes the busiest. It is the time for many deadlines, accountabilities, requirements, etc. It is the time that we become so stressed and it is also the time that we want to scream these three words, “I wanna die!”

No. Dying or killing yourself is not the solution to our current academic problems. Stress is very manageable. We just have to know what to do. Here’s what I do and I suggest you should do too to manage stress.

1. Manage your time properly. Make schedules, make to-do notes, do activities step by step, do not cram and make assignments or projects ahead of time.

2. Do academic works during free time of the day. Make use of your free time during the day to prevent sleepless nights.

3. Sleep at night. Having a normal sleeping habit is very important in managing stress because it helps the body regain the energy needed to start a productive day.

4. Eat plenty of foods and drink plenty of fluids. Do not skip meals and prevent yourself from being dehydrated for it will cause the brain to not function well. Eating healthy foods boost brain power.

5. Take multivitamins, like Stresstabs, Enervon, Centrum or Revicon. Multivitamins are mineral supplements to the food that we take in. These will help us become healthy and give us energy to keep on going.
